Buckeye Mill sits at the base of a complex network of canyons and peaks in this corner of Cochise County. The landscape is defined by the steep transition from the high elevations of Maverick Mtn and Rough Mtn down into the alluvial plains where Railroad Wash and Buckeye Wash carry seasonal runoff. Small settlements like Luzena and Bowie are linked by a transportation corridor that follows the natural contours of the valley floor.
