Lake Chelan dominates this landscape, its deep waters defining the geography of the surrounding Wenatchee National Forest. On the eastern shore, the settlement of Manson serves as a hub, situated near a cluster of smaller water bodies including Wapato Lake, Roses Lake, and the seasonally fluctuating Dry Lake.
