The Dixie National Forest covers much of this high-elevation terrain in Washington County, where the southern reaches of the Bull Valley Mountains meet a complex network of canyons and washes. Named for the prominent Maple Ridge and nearby Maple Spring, the landscape is defined by its dramatic relief, including landmarks like The Pinnacles and several high summits such as Windy Peak and Ox Valley Peak.
