The Brady Mountains anchor the southern reaches of this Concho County landscape, defining the topography above the drainage basins of the Kickapoo Creek system. This interior Texas territory is primarily characterized by its network of seasonal watercourses and an extensive grid of secondary and private roads that trace the rugged contours of the Edwards Plateau. The central and northern portions are dominated by the branching paths of E Kickapoo Cr and Middle Kickapoo Cr, which converge to shape the local watershed alongside Hog Cr.
