The Bridger Range rises sharply above the valley floor north of Bozeman, defining the eastern edge of this landscape where the Gallatin National Forest meets active agricultural lands. Small settlements such as Busch and Camona are positioned near the foothills, while the irrigation and drainage network is dominated by the East Gallatin River and its tributaries, including Middle Cottonwood Cr and Bostwick Cr.
