Upper Klamath Lake defines the western edge of this landscape, where the water meets the dramatic rise of the Modoc Point Rim. This terrain is characterized by steep escarpments and high plateaus, including Chiloquin Ridge and the upland expanse of Telephone Flat. The shoreline is a vital corridor, carrying both Us-97 and the Modoc Point Hwy through the settlement at Modoc Point.
