Port Angeles East and the surrounding coastal uplands of Clallam County are defined by a network of creeks draining north toward the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The landscape transitions from the developed corridors of the Old Olympic Hwy and the settlement of Crane into the protected wilderness of Olympic National Park and Olympic National Forest. Notable terrain features like Buck Knoll, Maletti Hill, and Round Mtn rise above the drainage basins of Morse Creek and Siebert Cr, illustrating the area's sharp elevation gain as it moves inland. Localized settlements such as Little Oklahoma and Mount Pleasant are interspersed with smaller water bodies like Winters Pond, reflecting the rural residential character of the Olympic Peninsula just east of the city. The shoreline is punctuated by Green Point, a distinct geographic marker where the bluffs meet the water.
