The Tushar Mountains dominate this high-elevation landscape on the border of Piute and Beaver counties. Centered on the towering peaks of Mt Belknap and Mt Baldy, the map details a region shaped by early 20th-century mining and modern forest management within the Fishlake National Forest. Evidence of historical activity is concentrated in the northeast corner near the settlements of Upper Kimberly and Lower Kimberly, as well as the high-altitude Bullion Pasture further south.

A complex network of primitive roads and trails, such as the Big John-Marysvale Trl and the Bullion Pasture Trl, provides access to remote alpine features like Blue Lake and Gold Mtn.
