The Kettle River Range dominates this portion of Colville National Forest in Ferry County. Rising to prominent heights at Mt Leona and the strikingly named Profanity Peak, the landscape is defined by its dramatic drainage networks and high ridges. The Pacific NW National Scenic Trail winds through the center of the sheet, providing a corridor through the high country past landmarks like Ryan Hill and Stickpin Hill.
