White Glacier dominates the eastern high ground of this landscape, feeding the complex drainage system of the Olympic Peninsula. The area is defined by the powerful presence of the Hoh River and its southern counterpart, the South Fork Hoh River. These glacial-fed waters are joined by several smaller tributaries, including Slate Creek, Cougar Creek, and Mount Tom Creek.
