Naubinway sits at the edge of the northern shoreline of Lake Michigan, serving as a focal point for this coastal survey of Mackinac County. The settlement is defined by its maritime orientation, with Marina Dr leading toward the harbor and the protected waters near Millecoquins Point. Inland, the landscape is a network of small waterways and wetlands, including Elbow Lake and the Lower Millecoquins River, which winds toward the coast west of the village. The map reveals a transition from the village street grid, including Main St and Lake St, to the more dispersed rural roads and trails such as Greylock Trl and Naubinway Rd. A significant portion of the sheet is dedicated to the offshore hazards and features of the Great Lake, notably Naubinway Island, Naubinway Reef, and the expansive Millecoquins Reefs to the south. Local history is anchored by the Naubinway Cem, located just north of the town center.
