
Sitgreaves National Forest spans the southwestern reaches of this Arizona landscape, where the high country topography is defined by prominent volcanic features like Ortega Mtn and Dobbins Knoll. The terrain is characterized by numerous small basins and drainage patterns, including the White Lakes Basin and the winding Ortega Draw. A network of water sources, both natural and man-made, is scattered throughout the region, including Baca Lake, Sides Lake, and Ortega Lake, alongside various livestock tanks like Mannerheim Tank and Bourdon Tank.
