Pagoda Peak rises at the intersection of the Routt National Forest and White River National Forest, marking a high point in the alpine landscape between Routt and Rio Blanco counties. This 2013 survey documents a remote wilderness defined by a complex network of forest trails and water sources, including the Stinsby Reservoir and Vaughan Lake. The terrain transitions from the Beaver Flat Tops in the northwest toward prominent landmarks like Burro Mountain and Harp Point.
