The Horse Heaven Hills rise across this boundary land where Yakima Co and Klickitat Co meet. The terrain is defined by a series of drainages, including Pine Creek, Mule Dry Creek, and Bull Creek, which carve through the high plateau. One of the most distinctive features is a topographical formation known as The Island, situated just north of the Onepennee Cem.
