Lake Champlain serves as the central divide in this modern topographical study, separating the village of Port Henry in New York from the rural expanses of West Addison, Vermont. The village is densely marked with early infrastructure and residential streets like Broad St and Main St, bordered by the high elevations of Cheney Mtn and Burns Mtn. Notable for local historians are the numerous burial grounds scattered across both shorelines, including Saint Patrick Cem, Moriah Union Cem, and Spear Cem on the western side, alongside Lakeview Cem and Eaton Cem to the east.
