Potosi Peak and the high alpine terrain of the Tobacco Root Mountains dominate this high-altitude survey within the Beaverhead National Forest. The landscape is defined by its complex glacial topography, featuring a high concentration of cirque lakes such as Branham Lakes, Upper Sureshot Lake, and Albro Lake. These water bodies feed the branching headwaters of South Willow Creek and North Meadow Creek, which carve deep drainages through the steep ridgelines of Sureshot Ridge and Table Mountain Ridge.
