Sidwalter Corral and Boulder Corral define the working character of this Central Oregon landscape in Wasco County. The terrain is structured by a network of drainage systems, notably Shitike Creek in the south and Mill Creek in the north, which carve through the high plateau. Between these waters lies Miller Flat, a broad expanse integrated into a grid of forest and rangeland roads such as P-660 RD and Bia 6 RD.
