White Thunder Bottom and the Cheyenne River define the northern portion of this mid-century landscape on the border of the Indian Reservation Boundary. The terrain is characterized by a complex network of seasonal drainages, including Eagle Chasing Draw, Swan Draw, and Curtis Draw, which carve through the breaks toward the river valley. To the south, the topography levels out into the expansive Milesville Flat, a region marked by rural life and isolated infrastructure.
