The Conecuh River and Patsaliga Creek define the geography of this Covington County landscape, where the confluence near River Falls has historically shaped local industry and transport. To the southeast, the outskirts of Andalusia begin to encroach upon the rural terrain, which is otherwise marked by numerous family-named ponds and creek drainages like Coker Mill Cr and Bullpen Cr. Local history is anchored by several rural burial grounds, including Bethlehem Cem in the northwest and Adellum Cem further south. The settlement of Beck sits near the southern bend of the river, while the presence of Railroad Ave in the north points to the lingering influence of rail infrastructure on the development of these riverfront communities. The land is largely organized around agricultural and timber holdings, with a dense network of county roads such as Loango Rd and Point A Rd connecting isolated homesteads.
