Roberts Mtn and Rogers Mtn anchor this high-elevation landscape in Lewis and Clark County, where the topography is defined by dramatic escarpments and deep drainages. The northern portion of the map is dominated by prominent geological formations known as The Reef and Rattlesnake Reef, which overlook a network of creek-fed gulches. These natural corridors, including Denton Gulch and Lannigan Gulch, have historically dictated the placement of back-country access roads like Allen Gulch Rd and Woods Creek Rd.
