Thin Rock Mesa and the deeply incised White Ruin Canyon define this high-desert landscape in Navajo County, documented during this 2021 survey. The terrain is a network of drainage systems and isolated plateaus, centered around the seasonal flow of Moenkopi Wash in the north and the complex geography of Cottonwood Canyon to the west. Human presence is indicated primarily by Indian Rte 45, which winds through the southern half of the quadrangle.
