Rogers Pass serves as a primary geographic anchor along the Continental Divide in this high-elevation corner of Lewis and Clark County. Much of the landscape is protected within the Helena National Forest, where a network of mountain peaks including Midnight Hill, Sunset Mtn, and Denton Mtn defines the drainage patterns for the surrounding river systems. The map captures a high-mountain environment where the Middle Fork Dearborn River and South Fork Dearborn River begin their descent toward the plains.
