Roundhill Ranch serves as the focal point of this arid Val Verde County landscape, situated amidst a complex network of ephemeral drainage patterns. The terrain is defined by dramatic erosional features like Mile and One Half Canyon and a series of deep draws, including Little Osman Draw, Osman Draw, and Henderson Draw. These waterways, which converge and weave through the limestone-dominated plateau, dictate the placement of local infrastructure and historic ranch boundaries. Connectivity through this isolated region is provided by a sparse road network, most notably Pumpville Rd, Straub Rd, and Ranch Rd 1865. To the northeast, the landform transitions toward Big Fielder Draw, accessed by the aptly named Fielder Draw Rd, illustrating how early transportation routes were strictly dictated by the natural contours of the West Texas breaks.
