Rush City serves as the central hub of this Chisago County landscape, situated near the winding course of Rush Cr. The area is characterized by a high density of ancestral sites, including several well-preserved cemeteries such as Covenant Cem, Calvary Cem, and the Gee Family Cem. To the east, the terrain gives way to the protected riparian corridor of the Saint Croix National Scenic Riverway along the St Croix River. A complex network of drainage systems, including County Ditch Number Six and County Ditch Number Nine, illustrates the long-standing efforts to manage the low-lying wetlands for agricultural use. This survey captures the intersection of modern infrastructure at the Rush City Regional Airport with the preserved natural boundary of the Wisconsin border.
