Saco serves as the primary hub in this portion of the northern plains, situated at the junction of Taylor St and Vagg St. The landscape is defined by an extensive network of irrigation infrastructure, most notably the Nelson South Number 25 Canal and the Nelson South Number 9 Canal, which snake through the valley floor to support local agriculture. North of the town center, the Grandview Cem stands near the intersection of Stroman Dr, overlooking the drainages of Beaver Creek. To the south, the terrain rises into the Larb Hills, where the map tracks the headwaters of Larb Creek, First Creek, and Second Creek. This survey captures the transition from the irrigated corridors along the Lewis and Clark Trl to the higher, broken rangeland that straddles the Phillips and Valley county line.
