The Iosepa Settlement stands as a focal point of this western Utah landscape, situated in the flats of Skull Valley. This site, significant for its unique cultural history, includes the Iosepa Settlement Cem nearby. To the east, the terrain rises sharply from the valley floor into the Wasatch National Forest and the peaks of the Stansbury Mountains, marked by numerous drainage features such as Big Granite Canyon and Little Pole Canyon.
