Upper Table Rock and Lower Table Rock dominate this landscape, rising above the floor of the Rogue Valley where the Rogue River curves toward the south. The surrounding lowlands are characterized by a complex network of water management and irrigation, including the Coker Butte Lateral and numerous private holdings such as the Chirgwin Reservoir, Harrison Reservoir, and Lester James Reservoir. This survey shows the interface of the rugged northern plateaus with the expanding residential and industrial outskirts of Central Point and northern Medford.
