Cape Starichkof marks a prominent point on the eastern shore of the Pacific Ocean, where the coastal bluffs meet the waters of the Cook Inlet. The terrain is defined by a series of parallel creeks, including Happy Cr and Stariski Cr, which cut through the landscape toward the sea. This coastal corridor is the primary artery for travel and settlement on the Kenai Peninsula, following the path of the Sterling Highway.
