Seney and Germfask serve as the primary hubs in this water-dominated landscape of the Upper Peninsula. The northern reaches are defined by the winding Fox River and its various offshoots, including the E Br Fox River and Twomile Ditch. Just south of the M-28 corridor, the terrain transitions into the sprawling complex of the Seney National Wildlife Refuge. Here, a massive network of managed pools, from A Pool to M Pool, reveals the extensive hydrological engineering used to navigate and preserve these wetlands.
