The Wasatch National Forest dominates the high-elevation landscape of the Wyoming-Utah border, where several major drainage systems originate. This 2023 survey documents the hydrology of the Uinta Mountains' foothills, characterized by the convergence of West Fork Bear River and Mill City Creek in the southeastern portion of the quadrangle. The namesake Seven Tree Flat sits as a high plateau in the west, surrounded by the headwaters of Yellow Creek and Chalk Creek.
