Mosida (Site) sits at the edge of Utah Lake on the southern end of this mid-century survey, marking the location of a former settlement along the shoreline. The landscape is dominated by the steep topography of Long Ridge, where several natural corridors like Soldiers Pass and Coyote Pass provided early passage through the terrain. To the west, the land flattens into the Cedar Valley, while the eastern slopes descending toward the lake are carved by numerous drainages including Dutchman Canyon and Chaparral Canyon.
