Quilotosa Wash and Sauceda Wash dominate this arid landscape south of the Gila River, cutting across the desert floor in a network of drainage channels. This 2018 survey documents the expansive public land system across several townships including t7s r4w and t8s r5w, where the terrain is defined by dramatic elevation changes. The presence of S 299 Ave provides one of the few modern navigational markers in an area characterized by deep alluvial washes and the ephemeral Sand Tank Wash. This region remains largely undeveloped, preserving the original land survey patterns and natural desert hydrology.
