The Dirty Devil River carves a winding path through this corner of Garfield County, defining a landscape of deep drainages and high plateaus. In the southeastern portion of the map, the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area encompasses the land surrounding the river, where the terrain transitions into the Red Benches and the steep walls of Fiddler Cove Canyon. Access to this remote region is primary via the Poison Springs Wash Rd, which follows the natural contours of the wash as it descends toward the river valley.
