The Selway River carves a deep path through the heart of the Nez Perce National Forest in this mid-1960s topographic study. The landscape is defined by its steep river corridor and the high points that watch over it, including Stillman Point, Sob Point, and O'Hara Point. Along the riverbanks, small riverside landings and camps such as Twentymile Bar, Rock Island, and Twentyfive Mile Bar mark the few accessible spots in the narrow valley.
