1969 Map of Strawberry Crater

USGS Topo · Published 1983

About this map

Volcanic landforms and ancient archaeological sites define this landscape within the Coconino National Forest as it was surveyed in the late 1960s. The prominent Strawberry Crater and Black Bottom Crater are central features, surrounded by extensive lava flows that reach toward Haywire Flat. The terrain is marked by significant topographical shifts between Woodhouse Mesa and the drainage of Deadman Wash, which cuts across the northern section of the quadrangle.
