The arid uplands of the Rattlesnake Hills dominate this landscape, defined by a critical network of natural springs and modern water management. While much of the terrain is punctuated by isolated water sources like Buck Camp Spring, Bailey Spring, and Colby Spring, the southern portion of the quadrangle transitions into an engineered agricultural corridor. Here, the Roza Canal and the Aqueduct Pump Station No 10 represent the mid-century infrastructure required to sustain life and industry in Yakima County.
