Cascadia marks the northern edge of this high-elevation landscape, where the foothills transition into the Cascade Range. The topography is defined by the massive bulk of Swamp Mountain and the prominent Green Mtn Ridge to the south. This area, largely contained within the Willamette National Forest, is characterized by a dense network of drainages that feed the region's larger river systems.
