The drainage pattern is dominated by the Upper Little Swatara Cr and Lower Little Swatara Cr, with Sweet Arrow Lake serving as a significant water feature in the western portion of the quadrangle.

Local history is preserved in the location of the Manbeck Cem near the center of the sheet, while high-altitude landmarks like Round Head and Stone Ridge offer orientation points.
