Synarep sits at the heart of this high-country landscape, where the waters of Tunk Cr flow through the Tunk Valley. The terrain is defined by dramatic elevation changes, rising from the valley floor to prominent peaks such as Meader Mtn and Beehive Mtn. In the northern half of the quadrangle, the Chewiliken Valley provides a primary corridor for travel along Chewiliken Valley Rd, passing beneath the shadows of the Okanogan National Forest.
