2017 Map of Tacoma Park

USGS Topo · Published 2017

About this map

Deerlodge National Forest dominates the northern reaches of this Jefferson County landscape, where the high country is carved by a network of steep drainages including Watertank Gulch and Tacoma Gulch. The elevation falls away toward the south into the Boulder Valley, a transition defined by the meandering course of the Boulder River. This lower terrain shows the impact of early agricultural engineering with the Carey-Twohy Ditch diverting water alongside Coyote Trl.
