2023 Map of Tatoosh Lakes

USGS Topo · Published 2023

About this map

Tatoosh Lakes sit high on the northern slopes of the Tatoosh Range, where the boundary between Mount Rainier National Park and the Tatoosh Wilderness follows the high ridgelines. The landscape is defined by massive elevation shifts, from the glacial ice of Unicorn Glacier and the heights of Unicorn Peak and Stevens Peak down to the alluvial valley floor. In the southern portion of the map, the terrain descends into the area known as Big Bottom, where the Cowlitz River flows through a wider valley.
