Tecoma sits at the heart of this high-desert landscape, positioned along the border between Nevada and Utah where the Pilot Range dominates the eastern horizon. The terrain is defined by a series of prominent peaks and canyons, from the northern heights of Rhyolite Butte and Black Butte down to the southern reaches of Copper Mtn. The drainage patterns of the Great Basin are clearly visible here, with Thousand Springs Cr feeding into Dake Reservoir and multiple washes like Loray Wash carving through the arid flats.
