The Cibola Co Catron Co boundary line divides this high-desert landscape in west-central New Mexico, where water management is the primary marker of human presence. Named for the Twentytwo Spring and the associated Twentytwo Draw, the area reveals a network of livestock infrastructure including Roundtree Windmills and several man-made catchments like Rim Tank, Big Sand Tank, and Indian Tank.
