Upper McNally Pond anchors the southeast corner of this Aroostook County landscape, a region defined by a complex network of northern Maine drainage systems. The topography is dominated by the headwaters of numerous brooks and streams, including Twentyfive Mile Brook and the converging paths of Right Fork Farrar Brook and Left Fork Farrar Brook. These waterways feed into larger systems such as Big Brook and Little Musquacook Stream, illustrating the hydraulic connectivity of the North Maine Woods.
