Weldon Hill stands as a prominent elevation point between the high relief of the Harquahala Mountains to the west and the Big Horn Mountains to the east. This desert landscape is defined by the broad drainage of Tiger Wash, which collects runoff from several smaller draws including Blue Tank Canyon as it flows south toward the Harquahala Plain.
