The Great Salt Lake shoreline meets industrial and military infrastructure in this 1970s orthophotomosaic. Dominating the landscape is a massive network of Salt Evaporators, separated by an Indefinite Boundary and linked by a series of Pumping Stations. These industrial salt works occupy the transition between the open waters of Bear River Bay and the specialized grounds of the Little Mountain Air Force Training Annex.
