The town of Williams occupies the northeast corner of this Hamilton County landscape, situated along the path of Co Rd D23. The surrounding countryside is defined by the headwaters of several drainages, most notably the winding course of the S Skunk River and the small tributary of New York Br. This agricultural region relies on an extensive network of drainage infrastructure, such as Ditch Number 64, to manage the prairie wetlands for farming.
