Mizpah Creek and its many seasonal tributaries define this section of the high plains along the Custer and Powder River County line. The landscape is characterized by intricate drainage patterns, with Road Creek, Big Bobcat Cr, and Little Bobcat Cr carving through the terrain to feed the primary north-south flow of the Mizpah Cr basin. Witcher Reservoir provides a primary point of water catchment in the western portion of the quadrangle.
