Wolf Creek Summit serves as the high-elevation focal point for this section of the Uinta National Forest, where the watershed divides between the Great Basin and the Colorado River drainage. To the north, the headwaters of the South Fork Provo River and Mill Hollow—anchored by the Mill Hollow Reservoir—carve through the landscape. The southern and eastern reaches of the map are defined by the complex drainage systems of the West Fork Duchesne River and Vat Creek.
