Worth Center anchors the northern reaches of this landscape, situated at the intersection of Co Rd 93 and Oconnor Rd. The terrain is defined by a dense network of headwaters and drainages, including the Mad River and its various tributaries such as the North Branch Slide Creek. Much of the southern portion of the map is occupied by the Little John Mgt Area Sthy, a significant protected area that preserves the wetlands surrounding Alder Bed Pond and the upper reaches of the Salmon River Rd corridor.
